Every public company loves to put out good news and see the reflection in its stock price. The following three companies released positive news of some kind today or late yesterday and then watched as their stock prices closed very strong.Northwest Biotherapuetics Inc. (OTCBB: NWBO) announced today that they received authorization for use from the Swiss Institute of Public Health to make DCVax-Brain commercially available for treatment of brain cancer in Switzerland. Northwest intends to make the product available to patients in the 3rd quarter of 2007. The stock price for Northwest is up $5.23 to $7.33, which is up 249 percent on volume of 3.99 million. NWBO is the first company to reach the market with a personalized therapeutic vaccine for brain cancer.
Execute Sports Inc. (OTCBB: EXCS) increased its stock price today by 47 percent, gaining 8/10 of a cent to 2.5 cents. Execute Sports experienced volume of 2.18 million after news the company just completed its largest sales volume ever. Sales exceeded $800,000, which is up 77 percent year-or-year for the quarter. Execute Sports designs high performance snowboarding, wakeboarding and wake skate products.
Fearless International (OTCBB: FRLE) has been working with Porsche Design Studio in Austria to help them produce luxury performance boats. On February 28, 2007, Fearless released the Fearless 28 luxury yacht. This yacht has the ability to reach 33 mph in 10 seconds, and also can reach 60 mph in 20 seconds. Today the stock price for Fearless increased 2 cents, or about 5 percent, to 45 cents on volume of 29,158. The company has plans over the three years to introduce four new boats.
Hybrid Technologies (OTCBB: HYBT) share price rose sharply this afternoon, increasing 28 cents to $2.89 on volume of 300,764 or an increase of 11 percent. Hybrid announced it has moved into production with the Mini-Cooper all lithium models, which is a subsidiary of BMW AG. The lithium-powered vehicles can speed up to 80 mph for a distance between 120-150 miles and can reach 60 miles in 6 seconds. The batteries take between 6 and 8 hours to charge.
