The company announced yesterday it entered into a business arrangement with Living Data Technology; Living Data made a $1.5 million equity investment through the purchase of common stock. In the press release, Vasomedical said the deal will allow the company the opportunity to expand its patient base. Vasomedical focuses on the noninvasive treatment and management of heart disease.
China Biopharma Inc. (OTCBB: CBPC) shares settled at 9 cents today after climbing 1 cent, or 19 percent, on volume of 263,334, still moving from yesterday’s news it reached agreements with Soonfast Pharmaceutical Science and Technology to launch its new antiviral medicine overseas – specifically to the United States and Europe. The all-natural medicine is used to treat the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV). According to the press release, the antiviral medicine has the potential to kill certain types of HPV.
After opening at a strong price of $1.20, shares of Neurologix Inc. (OTCBB: NRGX) settled at $1.50 this afternoon, up 50 cents, or 50 percent, on volume of 1,157,469. Recently the company announced the results from its gene therapy trial for Parkinson’s disease was published in the June 2007 issue of “The Lancelot.” The report detailed the company’s study on direct gene transfer into a patient’s own brain cells for any adult neurodegenerative disease.
