Global Capacity Inc., the operating arm of Capital Growth Systems Inc. (OTCBB: CGSY), believes it has revolutionized the telecommunications industry by becoming the first telecommunications logistics company, to offer a unique array of time and cost saving solutions to enterprises, systems integrators and carrier customers worldwide. In whole, Global Capacity is responsible for providing a fully integrated supply chain management system to streamline and accelerate the process of designing, building and managing customized communications networks.
The new company is successful by combining three recently acquired companies: Magenta net-Logic Ltd.; CentrePath Inc.; and Global Capacity Group Inc. All three companies are major contributors to the telecommunications industry. After combining these three companies, Global Capacity was formed in hopes of creating a fully integrated supply chain management system to streamline and accelerate the process of designing, building and managing customized communications networks.
Patrick Shutt, CEO of Global Capacity, commented that by combining these companies, Global Capacity is aiding customers in saving money and simplifying the product.
“No one telecommunications company has a ubiquitous footprint,” Shutt said in a company press release. “The result is fragmentation of infrastructure ownership, which leads to industry-wide inefficiencies and significant pricing inequalities. We launched our new business to help customers save money and improve network operations by simplifying network logistics.”
The business model for Global Capacity is to group its services into three main categories, all contributing to a major piece of the puzzle for the customer.
The first piece of the puzzle is Information Solutions, which will provide customers the market intelligence needed to optimize networks physically and financially through a global information engine continually updated with telecom supply and pricing data.
Secondly, Integration Solutions looks to leverage the capabilities of the entire supply chain management system to bundle connectivity solutions at Layer 1-3 with the level of network management support that best fits the customer operation.
Finally, Logistics Solutions is a suite of services that targets specific points within the supply chain such as: pricing; provisioning; and remote network monitoring and management. This chain enables customers to tap the specific expertise needed to augment existing capabilities.
In closing, Shutt thinks the company has come up with a unique product that customers will find refreshing compared to the other options out there.
“Most mature industries migrate to the most efficient way of doing business,” Shutt explained. “We think customers will welcome our unique approach to building and managing their networks.”
