Ezenia! Inc. (EZEN.OB) Receives New Multi-Year Order

Ezenia! Inc. announced yesterday that they have received a new multi-year order from the United States Air Force. The order totals approximately $1M in licensing royalties for the Ezenia! flagship product line, InfoWorkSpace. The contract is in addition to the renewal Ezenia! received earlier this year. It allows for expanded support of Air Force Warfighters. Ezenia! Inc. is a leading market provider of real-time collaboration solutions for corporate and government networks and eBusiness.

The contract provides additional InfoWorkSpace suite licenses to be employed within the Combatant Commands Air, Space and Coalition Air Operation Centers (AOC) and supports six active duty Air Force and Air National Guard (ANG) sites worldwide. The addition of the United States African Command’s (USAFRICOM) Air Operation Center positions InfoWorkSpace in all combatant commands. Following installation in the 102nd AOG in Cape Cod, MA, 103rd AOG in East Granby, CN, 110th AOG in Battle Creek, MI, and 183rd AOG in Springfield, IL, InfoWorkSpace will be supporting nearly double their current number of Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve sites.

Mr. Keith Baron, Vice President of Customer Assistance & Field Support, commented, “Further illustrating the Warfighters’ trust in Ezenia!’s secure, real-time collaboration suite, the contract clearly reflects the Air Force’s long-term confidence in Ezenia!.”

Mr. Baron further commented, “When used in concert with the earlier licenses, this increase will support more than 50,000 Warfighters per day, or 16,800 per shift. From small meetings to large scale multimedia briefings, InfoWorkSpace meets secure communication needs at differing levels organization wide.”

Rene Rodriguez, Vice President of Government Business, said, “This contract demonstrates Ezenia!’s commitment to strengthening and expanding its customer base within the Department of Defense. And, we’re just getting started. Given Ezenia!’s established track record in scalability, security, persistent multi-user chat, and real-time conferencing, InfoWorkSpace consistently delivers state-of-the art reliability and value.”

Headquartered in Nashua, New Hampshire, Ezenia! Inc. brings new and valuable levels of interaction and collaboration to corporate networks and the Internet. Their award-winning products, through integrating voice, video and data collaboration, enables groups to interact through a natural meeting experience regardless of geographic distance. The Company’s products allow dispersed groups to work together in real-time using powerful capabilities. These include instant audio and text chat, white boarding, screen sharing and secure file storage.
