BWI (Pink Sheets:BDWT), a premier waste solutions company in the Calgary area, finalizes the acquisition of Provac, a leading liquid waste hauling company. With a reputation as leaders in liquid waste hauling, Provac operates a fleet of 7 late model vehicles providing hydrovac, vacuum, line flushing and pressure washing services to the municipal and oil field markets in Alberta.
Over the past seven years, Provac has firmly positioned itself as the second largest liquid waste hauling company in the Calgary area providing services to the City of Calgary and the surrounding municipalities of Cochrane, Strathmore, Okotoks and Black Diamond. In addition to municipal service, Provac services major oil field companies such as Petro Canada and Compton Petroleum as well as positioning themselves in the Northern Alberta oil sands market with a multiple month service contract.
The acquisition of Provac, combined with the services BWI recently obtained with the acquisition of Strathmore Septic Services, will strengthen BWI’s existing liquid waste hauling services and provide BWI the opportunity to increase their penetration into the lucrative Alberta oil field market.
