In April, the company announced it was in “serious negotiations with a major North American communications/media company to acquire Blackout Communications,” but gave no further details.
“We have been involved in ongoing discussions for some time now with this significant multi-media communications company to sell Blackout Communications to them and it is finally coming to a conclusion,” said Sandy Winick, president of Blackout Media, in the press release. “As we are a significant shareholder of Blackout Communications we have a vested interest in the outcome of these talks. “We are still working through all the details and we hope to conclude the transaction by the summer,” said Winick.
