Now is a a good time to get into the staffing market. The demographics of the American work force are changing – they’re more diverse and we’re going to have fewer skilled people as more of the boomers retire. INfe Human Resources has positioned itself in a growth industry with room for niche companies that staff high demand areas.
INfe should find itself in a good cashflow position with the right recruiters in their staffing businesses.
Data released by the American Staffing Association shows that the U.S. staffing industry is growing faster than the economy because of flexibility: workers want it, businesses need it and it’s good for the economy.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment services industry, which is primarily staffing, will grow at an average annual rate of 3.8 percent from 2004 to 2014, adding nearly 1.6 million new jobs. During the next decade, the U.S. staffing industry will grow faster and add more jobs than any other industry, according to the BLS.
Recruiting and staffing is crucial for companies. Human resources departments are focused more on reducing health care costs and retaining current employees than on recruiting and staffing.
Recruiting and staffing companies employ technology that allows them to reach out to candidates from all over and makes it convenient for candidates to apply. Though somebody is applying for one position that they may not be qualified for, the system will look at the applicant for many different job categories and find something might be better suited for the candidate.
Medical Recruiting Crucial
Hospital recruiters, already grappling with budget constraints and workforce shortages, will not find much comfort in recent research on nurse education and healthcare staffing agencies. A pair of reports from the National League for Nursing, a nursing faculty professional association, and Staffing Industry Analysts, a market research firm, suggest trouble for healthcare employers trying to fill vacancies and manage labor costs. Existing demand for faculty, coupled with an aging workforce, could sharply limit schools’ ability to meet demand from both prospective students and potential employers.
