On Friday, VitaminSpice announced that the company has appointed Robert Wilke as its new Chief Marketing Officer. The vitamin-infused spices and food products retailer is excited to incorporate his professional experience into the VitaminSpice brand. He has led in the creation of effective marketing programs for companies such as J.P. Morgan/Chase, Citibank, National Car Rental, the Bermuda Department of Tourism, Verizon, Guinness, and many others.
At present, Mr. Wilke owns Wilke Communications, a marketing agency serving a diverse portfolio of national and international clients. Prior to Wilke Communications, Robert held a number of senior positions in the marketing services business, including CEO of Circle.com, an international professional web services company; president of Nexus Direct, a Virginia-based advertising agency; and Executive Vice President at Brann Worldwide, a global direct marketing agency.
Edward Bukstel, CEO of VitaminSpice, remarked, “Robert is a dynamic person with extraordinary experience and insight into opportunities that will be beneficial for VitaminSpice. This is the next step in bringing in a talented and diverse group of individuals that will make up the management team that will lead VitaminSpice to the next level and beyond.”
On his new position, Wilke commented: “I believe the future of VitaminSpice is very bright. The entire promise of the brand lines up perfectly with the priorities of so many Americans who want to eat healthier but who don’t always have the time to take the best care of themselves. What’s more, the product is utterly unique. Ed has created an entirely new category with VitaminSpice and I believe the growth potential is explosive.”
