Blogging Makes Good Business Cents
Stock GuruProfile – OTCBB: ETLY – ECOtality, Inc.
I hope you are getting the ECOtality BIG PICTURE. ECOtality has a dynamite business plan that centers around The Fuel Cell Store. ECOtality takes the retail focus of the business online and supports it with insights into the world of renewable energy. The Fuel Cell Store is the public face of a company that is bringing together renewable energy products supported by cutting edge research and they are in ALL of it with an eye toward a strong revenue stream.
ECOtality has taken that public face they have with the world and used it to their maximum advantage … with no small effort for themselves with their Fuel Cell Store Blog.
If you want a jump on this industry — this is it! Real world economic motivations are strong and will likely expand exponentially when the U.S. Congress passes one of the many amendments for tax incentives for renewable energy use, development and research. (See yesterday’s blog for details on hydrogen amendments before the U.S. Congress.)
Are you ready to learn what the experts know about fuel cells with personal insights?
The Fuel Cell Store has a great blog. The Fuel Cell Store Blog helps the ‘outsider’ – new to the world of renewable energy understand what an ‘insider’ views as significant not only from the perspective of the environment but from the world where research and development meets real world economics. It’s easy to ready and gentle on your time with an RSS feed. Link to the Fuel Cell Store Blog for the business and world perspective of someone that gets renewable energy.
Here are two sample entries. These blogs turn learning about renewable energy into the equivalent of eating a Baby Snickers – easy, fun, and quick.

I think it is pretty cool that fuel cells are being developed that are modeled after cows. Bovines have little in the way of intelligence (no offense to any cows or cow lovers out there), but this just goes to show that everything on Earth has its place. I think there is a lot of potential in these bad boys, and FCS should probably sell them when they are a bit more available. Speaking of everything having its place…my place is about to be across the way eating a delicious sandwich.

Catalyst development is important to the future of fuel cells because right now most catalysts (like platinum) are pretty expensive. I don’t know if this new research will be cheaper, but it will be more efficient, which means less has to be used, and therefore should be cheaper due to less quantity used.
The Fuel Cell Store Blog is a fabulous and simple way to keep up with what’s happening in the renewable energy world from an insider’s perspective.
ECOtality is building a significant presence in this industry and they are leaving no stone unturned — the blog with the RSS feed is just the tip of the iceberg … well, what’s left of the iceberg with global warming!
