Material Technologies, Inc. (MTTG.OB) – Waiting for Falling Bridges

I guess it will take another US Bridge collapse to get the public’s attention about how unsafe our infrastructure is at home. Material Technologies Inc. (MTTG.OB) CEO has been talking about this for more than a decade and I spoke with him on the day the bridge disaster happened in Minnesota and I bet if we called him today he would say the same thing. This company has a unique model and potential sales in nearly every city, but they only get attention during these crisis. A look at the business model is due here and management makes themselves accessible to all investors. This is worth a call.

Material Technologies holds exclusive patent rights to several technology products that can measure microscopic cracks in metal structures. The company’s products have a great need in America and the management has plans to market its technologies to windmills, antenna towers, aircraft, equipment used in the oil industry, and other metal structures subject to fatigue loadings.

The need for improved inspection methods was recognized more than ever before after the tragic Minneapolis bridge collapse. Material Technologies’ Electrochemical Fatigue Sensor technology has the ability to discover small, growing cracks in metal structures, which can eliminate much of the uncertainty in metal bridge inspections and help prevent similar disasters in the future.

Recently, Material Technologies became one of the most publicized engineering companies in the nation. The company’s technology has already been deployed in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts as well as demonstrated its technology to New York officials. Material Technologies’ products cover an array of testing, inspection and monitoring needs and have excellent potential to become a key player in its respective industry.
