Material Technologies Inc. (MTTG.OB) Announces Chief Scientist to Present at ASNT Spring Symposium

Material Technologies Incorporated proudly announced today that their Chief Technologist, Dr. Monty Moshier, has been selected to present his recent findings at the American Society of Nondestructive Testing’s spring symposium. Dr. Moshier, who earned his Ph.D.in Mechanical Engineering from Perdue University and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, will be presenting his paper describing the capabilities of Material Technologies’ Electrochemical Fatigue Sensor (EFS) technology and its practical uses.

The ASNT spring symposium will be a 5 day conference taking place in Anaheim, CA, running through April 4th. The conference will cover the state of the art technologies in the inspection industry. Dr. Moshier’s paper will be presented at a special infrastructure focus session on April 1st at the Hyatt Regency, Orange County. This symposium serves as a professional forum for communication and promotion of nondestructive technology transfer among researchers, engineers, inspectors and equipment makers.

When asked to comment on Dr. Moshier’s election to present at the symposium, CEO of Material Technologies, Robert Bernstein said, “Dr. Moshier has been a long time integral piece of the MATECH team and has been key in the further development of the EFS system from his days back with the U.S. Air Force. We are very pleased he is presenting the current exciting work being performed with the EFS system. Further this ASNT Conference will help us gain additional international exposure. The EFS system will be a fundamental part of the inspection industry as we move forward. It is already being recognized by transportation officials as the state of the art standard for bridge inspections.”

The conference will definitely put Material Technologies Incorporated into the spotlight and highlight their significant breakthroughs in this very specific field. Their EFS system should turn many heads this year, as it has been tested and proven on many bridges in the past year. The publicity and exposure that will be generated by Dr. Moshier’s presentation at the conference this week should be an overwhelmingly positive step for the company.
