H3 Enterprises Inc. (Pink Sheets: HTRE) has taken a unique approach to target the “Hip Hop Generation,” with its franchises comprising Hip Hop music, video gaming, high definition and food. Later this year the doors will open for its Hip Hop themed fast food franchise, HipHopSodaShop. The concept of the restaurant “celebrates” Hip Hop music and anything to do with the culture – from Hip Hop merchandise and media, live, high definition sportscasts, and a CyberSports arena equipped with PlayStations and Xboxes.
So what kind of food makes it to the menu of a Hip Hop themed fast food restaurant? H3 Enterprises serves its H3Rap – Biggie sized or Smallie sized. (For those of you outside the “hip hop” realm, the “raps” reference deceased rap icon Christopher Wallace a.k.a. Biggie Smalls).
The restaurant will feature the company’s giant LCD Flat Screens, playing music videos, sports and audience participation in “Open Mic Nites.” On its Web site, the company said its H3TV flat screens are the first screens on the market designed for video gamers.
The company has other projects on its plate, so to speak, including Hip Hop Heaven, a restaurant serving seafood, salads, Champagnes and more – but right now H3 Entertainment is focused on the promotion of HipHopSodaShop.
According to the press release, H3 Enterprises’ CEO and President Dr. Benjamin Chavis recently concluded a week of business meetings in Chicago to promote HipHopSodaShops and to help maintain a clear focus on socio-economic and cultural empowerment with the message “Empowerment through Investment.”
