Seawright Holdings Incorporated is a developmental stage company that engages in the spring water bottling and distribution business in the United States. Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, the company is located adjacent to a fresh-water spring with a long operating history within a few miles of major east coast population centers like Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and even New York City.
The company currently distributes its products to several local whole food retailers and has recently begun working with Balducci’s, a larger local chain. However, in order to become a profitable company, Seawright will need to either expand to some larger reasonable stores or partner with larger water bottling companies.
Seawright is currently in negotiations with a couple of big players in the bottled water industry to propose an offer that would sell 1/3 of its daily output to another provider. This deal would provide more that 100 million gallons per year of fresh drinkable water for the company that makes the deal and builds a pipeline to the Virginia location.
The company has a rich history that can be dated back to 1741 when King George II of England granted John Seawright 800 acres of land in Virgina. This property included “the good health spring” and since that time the legend of its pure waters has grown. The water contains several natural minerals including calcium, potassium, magnesium, silica and fluoride. Now consumers can purchase this same water in either ½ liter or 1 liter bottles and by the 12 of 24 pack at many local retailers.
