Data Call Technologies, Inc. (DCLT.OB) Expands International Weather Coverage

Data Call Technologies Inc., content provider for the fast growing digital signage industry, announced recently that it has finalized agreements and development initiatives to provide extended weather content to the global digital signage market. Data Call has become an important player in the digital signage industry by offering a wide selection of real-time content for display on digital signs. Weather content is an especially popular and effective offering, and will now include global meteorological conditions, Doppler radar images, and weather forecasts.

Data Call’s Chief Technology Officer, Jim Tevis, commented on the new developments. “Many of our U.S. clients are beginning to deploy digital signage networks in markets outside the United States. As such, requests for global additions to the Direct Lynk product line have become more and more frequent. With weather content topping the request list, we completed the development of that product and will now turn our attention to developing and testing global additions to the rest of the Direct Lynk product line.”

The reach of Data Call’s Direct Lynk technology has grown tremendously, and now stretches around the world. The company currently offers comprehensive weather coverage to 215 countries and territories, outside North America, covering Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, and even Antarctica. The addition of new highly desirable weather content options increases Data Call’s appeal as a one-stop shop for digital signage content. Venues include airports, sports arenas, banks, clinics, car dealers, manufacturing plants, elevators, and even cell phones, as well as the increasing number of large digital billboards.

And Data Call isn’t stopping there. The company is committed to expanding its product offerings, with plans to move into other vertical markets within its targeted industry.
