Finding a Cure for Breast Cancer
As you probably already know by now, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A leading type of cancer among women, only second to lung cancer, much research is being done to discover a cure. It has been estimated that 25 deaths due to breast cancer occur each year for every 100,000 women in the United States. As a result of continued progress with cancer research, the breast cancer death rate has steadily decreased but no "magic bullet" currently exists.
