Nortel & MDI Teaming Up for Extra Security

Shares of MDI Inc. (Nasdaq: MDII) jumped up today after news of the deal with Nortel Networks Corp. (NYSE: NT) was announced early this morning. MDII was up 19 cents (15 percent) at $1.40 per share on volume of 742,645. The company entered into a business agreement designed to promote Nortel's comprehensive network communications and information security solutions together with MDII's unified security technology solutions across multiple vertical markets.
