Sea Change With results in from both Iowa and New Hampshire, it isn’t too early to begin forming conclusions about the 2008 General Election. This looks like a Sea Change Election Year. There haven’t been many. The last was 1980 when Ronald Reagan defeated Jimmy Carter. The Odd Couple The stock market took a hit on all fronts today. All three major stock markets were off 2%. The Dow sank a whopping 238 points to 12589, the S&P 500 was down 26 points to 1390 and NASDAQ off 59 points to 2441.
