BJ's Wholesale Club Inc. (BJ) Announces Increased April Sales

BJ's is one of the first and most successful wholesale clubs in the eastern United States. Spread over 16 states, BJ's currently has 177 outlets in operation. In a recent press statement, BJ's Wholesale Club Inc. reported that sales for April, 2008 had risen by 20.4 percent over the prior-year period. On a comparable club basis, sales saw a 17.8 percent growth, 5.5 percent of which came from gasoline sales.
