II-VI Incorporated announced financial results for its second quarter ended December 31, 2008. Woodward Governor Company reported its financial results for its first quarter of fiscal year 2009. Net sales for the quarter totaled $344.7 million, up 27 percent from the same period of last year. Today, Green Plains Renewable Energy, Inc. acquired 51% of Houston-based biofuel terminal operator Blendstar, LLC for $9.0 million.
