The Dow Jones suffered extreme losses during Monday's session. Following another failure-to-please regarding the proposed government bailout package, the index saw its heaviest ever one day decline, dropping 777 points. It appears that the warnings of Henry Paulson, and others who said that immediate action was needed, were largely ignored.
