Akeena Solar Inc. (AKNS) Reports Prospect of Profitability by End of 2009, Wary of Tax Incentive Non-Renewal at 2008 End

In a certain sense, the search for alternative energy investments is becoming commonplace. Solar power, wind energy and biofuels are regular concepts and words in the average investor’s lexicon. As companies enter and establish themselves in the marketplace, many are starting to get near profitability and their place in the energy matrix. Where once it may have been a bit more speculative to invest in renewable sources of energy, all an investor needs do today is find a renewable energy provider and perform regular due diligence. Many alternative energy companies are ready to profit; an investor just needs to look…

Nacel Energy Corp. (NCEN.OB) Reaches Wind Energy Development Goals Ahead of Schedule, Expanding Programs toward 1,000 Megawatts

No one source of energy will solve the power needs of the world today. A solution will entail the efficient use of many types of power generation. Unfortunately, there are many issues to solve before individual energy projects can come online. In this sense, management needs to be up to the task at hand to make their individual energy programs work. Since many of the needed energy programs being developed have made it past initial technological steps, finding an…

Recently we received one of Brite-Strike’s high intensity, tactical flashlights for review. To describe the quality crafted instrument in just a few words, it is extremely well built, couldn’t be easier to use, has an extremely small profile, and has up to 180 lumens of brilliant, flawless white light. Pricing Fitness for Enterprise Longevity – How to Grow a Business & Stock Investment Mind

Pricing is the most decisive weapon in a management armory. Products and services under price regulations are exceptions, but this is now limited in the post-socialist world. High demand elasticity to price, and competitive substitution, are major deterrents to the exercise of management prerogative to raising selling rates. These risks are often more imagined than real. However, it is difficult to fight fears that loyal customers may be lost because of new sticker prices. It is easier to balance contradictory profit margin and brand share objectives through the following three functional strategies: 1. Keep your cost of funds lower than…

Cultural Sensitivity for Competitive Advantage

Global markets and the changing demographics of the United States have stereo effects on business. Condescension is no longer adequate, whether you operate throughout the world, or within just one block. Europe, until now, has fared better than America in doing business with people of all backgrounds. Great Britain, France, Germany, and Spain, have been particularly successful in keeping the wheels of commerce in motion through Africa, the Indian sub-continent, and Latin America. Some top US…
