Aehr Test Systems (AEHR) Reports Q1 2009 Increase in Sales and Earnings

Aehr Test Systems (AEHR), a supplier of semiconductor test and burn-in equipment, announced financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2009 this afternoon after the close. Revenues rose to $9.7 million, an increase of 27% from $7.7 million for the same period of fiscal 2008. Income from operations was $1.4 million, an increase of 89% from $717,000 a year earlier. Unemployment Reaches 7-Year High

The highest number of jobless claims in the U.S. since November of 2001 was reported last week as the economy faltered and the aftermaths of Hurricanes Ike and Gustav continued to be felt.
