Butler National Corp. reported net income of $718,000 in its first quarter of fiscal 2010 (ending July 31, 2009). This was up 126% over the same period in 2008. Revenues were $6.06 million, up 17% year-over-year. Butler National Corporation also reported a backlog of $10.8 million as of 8/28/2009. The Avionics segment saw the biggest increase in revenues, which totaled $2.3 million, up 161% on a year-over-year basis.
