ECOtality, Inc.’s (ETLY.OB) Subsidiary Receives Approx. $100 Million Grant

Today it was announced that ECOtality, Inc.’s subsidiary, Electric Transportation Engineering Corporation (eTec), a leader in clean electric transportation and storage technologies, received a grant totaling approximately $99.8 million from the U.S. Department of Energy to commence the largest deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) and charging infrastructure in U.S. history. eTec has partnered with Nissan North America to undertake the massive project. Oil Becomes a Sticky Proposition on Wall Street

Oil has taken Wall Street on a roller coaster ride in the past week. The ride started with oil rising towards $72 ahead of inventory data and then falling below $71 after inventory data. Oil fell toward $70 a barrel on Wednesday morning amidst U.S. government inventory data showing a build in crude stocks and weak economic data that raised concerns and doubts about oil demand recovery in the world’s largest energy consumer.
