Kansas City Life Insurance Company announced that after a review of the financial strength of the company, A.M. Best has affirmed the financial strength and issuer credit ratings of Kansas City Life Insurance Company as an “A.” The ratings affirmation also applies to Sunset Life Insurance Company of America, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kansas City Life Insurance Company.
