YM BioSciences, Inc. (YMI) Begins Phase II Trial for Its CYT387 Drug

YM BioSciences Inc. is a drug development company. It is currently advancing three clinical stage products: CYT387, a small molecule, dual inhibitor of the JAK1/JAK2 kinases; CYT997, a vascular disrupting agent; and nimotuzumab, an EGFR-targeting monoclonal antibody. The company today announced that it has enrolled the first of 60 patients in its Phase II trial of CYT387. The drug is to be administered twice daily for the treatment of myelofibrosis.
