Broadwind Energy, Inc. (BWEN) Announces Strong First Quarter with Doubling of Sales and Order Increase in Wind Towers and Gearing Segments

Broadwind Energy, Inc., supplier of solutions for the energy needs of the future, today announced that sales in the first quarter of 2011 were $43.5 million, which is approximately 100% greater than the $21.7 million reported for the first quarter of 2010. Broadwind Energy saw a huge increase in orders for production in the tower and gearing segments of its business.
