Axial Vector Energy Corp. (AXVC.PK) Announces Acquisition of Product Assembly and Storage Facility in Dubai

Today, Axial Vector Energy announced that its 15 kW generators and electric motors are now ready for mass production and that it has acquired a product assembly and storage facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The new facility will allow final assembly of the company’s generators and electric motors as well as provide a platform for customer demonstrations.

Axial Vector is scheduled to introduce and demonstrate the advantages of its innovative generators when placed in wind turbines at the prestigious Friedland Equities Global Investment Forum which will be held on Monday, October 27, at the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai. The world’s top wind energy producers have been invited to attend the forum where they will learn about Axial Vector’s technological breakthroughs.

“In terms of economic value, the wind energy sector has now become firmly installed as one of the important players in the energy markets, with the total value of new generating equipment installed in 2006 reaching €18 billion, or US$23 billion. Our generators will allow even faster growth as the profit picture for operators increases dramatically,” stated Sanjai Chhaunker, President and CEO. “This piece of technical innovation allows windmills to be built and operated economically under much lower wind regimes, and opens the door for effective tradeoffs between transmission losses and production.”

Axial flux generators’ principle advantage over traditional radial flux generators is their high power density. Because they are compact in size, they are ideal for placement in wind turbines. The generators do not require torque at startup, allowing a control module to adjust the turbine spin to a desired speed for energizing. This unique advantage enables a wind turbine to produce energy in even light winds, making it possible for wind turbine placement in previously thought uneconomical locations.
