TNFG Corp. (TNFG.OB) Completes Asset Sale

Yesterday, TNFG Corp. and Lightspeed Financial, Inc. announced that they completed the transaction whereby Lightspeed has acquired 100 percent of the membership interest of Terra Nova Financial, LLC for a purchase price of approximately $27.6 million. The purchase price consists of an initial cash payment of $22.6 million and a $5.0 million promissory note bearing interest at a rate of 8% and due within six months of closing or the earlier release of clearing deposits held Terra Nova's clearing firm. Medizone International, Inc. (MZEI.OB) Announces Successful Completion of Testing of AsepticSure

Yesterday, Medizone International Inc., a research and development company, announced the successful completion of the first round of beta testing for its AsepticSure system at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Ontario, Canada, which is affiliated with Queen's University. The system will be used to decontaminate and sterilize surgical suites, emergency rooms, intensive care units, patient rooms and schools, among other areas prone to contamination. Acorn Energy (ACFN) Reports Preliminary Third Quarter Sales

Acorn Energy reported a large increase in sales in the third quarter of 2010 compared to last year as the company benefited from increased orders in many of its business segments. Acorn Energy said that preliminary unaudited sales for the third quarter of 2010 would be $10.5 million, up 63% relative to the third quarter of 2009.
