VIASPACE holds more then 100 licensed and proprietary patents which have been filed after years of cutting-edge government R&D and investment from the California Institute of Technology, operator of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Shares of Transmeta (Nasdaq: TMTA) were up 20 cents, or 28 percent, to 90 cents on volume of nearly 8 million this morning, reeling from yesterday's news of a multi-million dollar investment.Advanced Micro Devices Inc. Yesterday was a busy day for the Fort Worth division of the SEC. Earlier that morning, news of the SEC's recent complaint against Dallas-based bank holdings company AmeriFirst Funding Inc. - and the subsequent investor fraud allegations - were leaked to Market News First.
